Our Weldmesh Range

Two Materials. One Manufacturing Standard.

Both run on the same welding lines, to the same pitch control. The difference is corrosion protection — and it decides which one belongs on your site.

GI weldmesh rolls with galvanised finish stacked at the MM Industries yard
GI Weldmesh · Galvanised

For anything that lives outdoors

Zinc-coated welded wire mesh. The coating corrodes in place of the steel beneath it, so the mesh survives rain, humidity and coastal air without paint. Supplied pre-galvanised for economy, or hot-dip galvanised after welding where coating cover at the weld node is critical.

  • Boundary fencing, plant perimeters, poultry, agriculture, drainage screens
  • No site painting, no repaint budget, no rust bleed onto plaster
  • Coating weight specified to your requirement and stated on the quotation

MS Weldmesh · Mild Steel

The economical structural workhorse

Plain mild steel welded mesh — same line, same pitch control, without the zinc. The sensible choice wherever the mesh is encased, painted or kept dry. Hard-drawn wire grades available for concrete reinforcement fabric to IS 1566.

  • Slab and wall reinforcement, machine guards, cages, partitions, grills
  • Lowest landed cost per square metre at the same wire diameter
  • Cuts, bends and welds on site without special tooling

Wire Coil In. Loaded Truck Out.

Weldmesh quality is decided on the line, not on the invoice. This is what happens to your order between the two.

Seven controlled stages, one documented system

Wire is procured from established, reputed steel producers — not the cheapest coil available that week — and every consignment is checked for diameter, tensile grade and surface before it is allowed on the line. Off-spec coil is rejected at the gate, not discovered mid-run. Line and cross wires are then fed to set pitch and resistance-welded at every intersection, with current and pressure set per gauge so the node fuses rather than merely sticking.

  • Wire procurement — sourced from reputed steel producers against a defined specification
  • Raw material intake — diameter, grade and surface verified before production
  • Automatic welding — parameters set per gauge, node fusion not surface tack
  • Galvanising — pre-galv for economy, hot-dip after weld where node cover is critical
  • Cutting, inspection, packing — checked against the order before anything is banded

A triple quality check system runs through every order — once on incoming wire, once on the line during welding, and once before packing. Nothing reaches the truck that has not passed all three, under a documented ISO 9001 system. Ask for the test data with your dispatch and it travels with the material.

The Details a Site Engineer Actually Inspects

Mesh gets rejected at site for four reasons. We photograph all four, because we are willing to be judged on them.

  • Raw material inspectionIncoming wire verified for diameter, grade and surface before it enters production.
  • Dimensional accuracyRoll width, roll length and panel sizes checked against the order, with squareness on panels.
  • Surface finishNo burn-through, no sharp burrs, no scale carried over from the wire.
  • Strength testingTensile and weld-shear samples taken per batch and recorded against the lot.

Packing, Handling & Dispatch

Mesh That Arrives Crushed Is Mesh You Cannot Bill

Handling and packing get as much attention as welding, because damaged material on site is your problem, not the transporter's.

Why Procurement Teams Stay

Reasons Buyers Reorder Instead of Re-tendering

None of these are slogans. Each is something you notice by the second purchase order.

  • 30 years, one tradeManufacturing wire mesh since 1995 — not a trading house re-labelling someone else's coil.
  • Roll-to-roll consistencyBatch two matches batch one. Your fabricator doesn't re-jig between deliveries.
  • In-house, end to endWelding, galvanising, cutting and packing under one roof. No job worker in between.
  • Customisation as routineOdd pitch, half-width rolls, panels to a cutting list — quoted normally.
  • Support that answersAsk which gauge carries your load and you get a considered answer — including "you don't need it".
  • ISO 9001 & CRISIL ratedDocumented QMS, and an independent credit rating you can verify before advancing money.

What Buyers Say

From Contractors, Dealers and Project Teams

  • ★★★★★
"Ordered four truckloads of GI weldmesh for a plant boundary. Mesh size was uniform across every roll — our fencing contractor did not have to trim a single panel to fit."
Project Procurement ManagerIndustrial plant project, Chhattisgarh
  • ★★★★★
"We have stocked their weldmesh for six years. The reason is simple: the gauge on the tag is the gauge in the roll. My customers stopped arguing with me about it."

  • ★★★★★
"MS weldmesh for slab reinforcement on a housing project. Sheets arrived flat and square, so laying was fast and we cut wastage against our estimate."

Straight Answers

Weldmesh Buying Questions

What is the actual difference between GI weldmesh and MS weldmesh?

Same welded wire mesh, different corrosion protection. GI weldmesh carries a zinc coating that corrodes in place of the steel underneath, so it survives outdoors without paint. MS weldmesh is plain mild steel — cheaper at the same wire diameter, and the right choice when the mesh is embedded in concrete, kept indoors, or painted after fabrication. If it will sit in rain, humidity or coastal air, specify GI.

What is your minimum order quantity?

Standard sizes held in stock can be supplied in small quantities — a few rolls is fine. Custom mesh sizes, non-standard gauges and special panel dimensions need a production run, so a minimum applies and it varies with the specification. Send your requirement and we will tell you the exact minimum for that item rather than quoting a blanket figure.

How long does delivery take?

Ready-stock sizes are typically dispatched within 24–48 working hours of order confirmation. Custom manufacturing depends on run size and current line loading; the committed date goes in your quotation in writing. Transit time on top depends on distance from Raipur — we give you both numbers separately so you can plan the site date rather than guess it.

Can you manufacture a non-standard mesh size or wire gauge?

Yes — this is normal work here, not an exception. Send the mesh opening, wire diameter, roll or panel dimensions and finish. If it is inside our production envelope we quote it directly; if it is not, we will say so and suggest the nearest specification that performs the same job.

What does weldmesh cost?

Price is driven by wire diameter, mesh opening, GI or MS, and total tonnage — and steel rates move, so any figure quoted without your specification is meaningless. Send mesh size, gauge and quantity and you get a firm rate per roll or per square metre, with weight per roll and freight shown separately. Rates are normally held for 7 days.

Do you handle bulk and project orders?

Yes. Tonnage orders are scheduled as dedicated production runs so the full quantity arrives to a plan rather than trickling in over weeks. For project supply we can align dispatch to your pour or erection schedule, and split deliveries across site locations.

Do you supply outside Chhattisgarh?

Yes — pan-India. We manufacture in Raipur and dispatch across the country, with a dealer network covering 100+ cities for smaller top-up quantities. Central India keeps freight cost reasonable in most directions. Give us the delivery city and freight is quoted as a separate line.

Can I get a sample before ordering?

Yes. For genuine project and dealer enquiries we send a physical sample of the mesh size and gauge you are considering, so your team can check the weld and the finish before committing a purchase order. Ask for it with your enquiry.

What quality standards do you manufacture to?

Welded mesh is manufactured with reference to IS 4948 for general-purpose welded wire fabric, and IS 1566 where hard-drawn steel wire fabric for concrete reinforcement is specified. We operate an ISO 9001 quality system, and MM Industries is CRISIL rated. Test certificates covering wire diameter, mesh pitch and weld strength are available with dispatch on request.

What do you need from me to send a quotation?

Four things: mesh opening (e.g. 50 × 50 mm), wire diameter (e.g. 3.0 mm), GI or MS, and quantity with roll or panel size. Delivery city too, for freight. If you only have a drawing or a photo of existing mesh, send that on WhatsApp — we can usually work the specification out from it.

Do you appoint dealers and distributors?

Yes. We work with 500+ authorised dealers across India and continue to appoint in uncovered territories. Select "Dealer / Distributor enquiry" on the form and our channel team will discuss territory, stocking terms and margins.
